Fuel-appliance rule: Never light or operate a stove, lantern, grill, heater or pressure appliance inside a tent, enclosed shelter, camper or vehicle. Keep extra clearance during lighting because flare-ups can occur. Use a stable, level, non-combustible surface or manufacturer-approved stand outdoors.
